Influence Relationship between New Nurses¡¯Taeum Cognition(workplace violence) and Turnover Intention: Focusing on mental-physical-social Taeum Cognition

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence relationship between Taeum Cognition(mental-physical-social) of new nurses on turnover intention. Taeum Cognition deteriorates the working environment, deteriorating the health of nurses, the quality of patient care, and lowering social and national competitiveness. The data collection period was from December 9, 2022 to March 25, 2023, and multiple regression analysis was conducted on quantitative research methods.
The results of this study showed that nurses' Taeum Cognition has an influence on turnover intention. First, in the case of perceived mental burnout, verbal violence(¥â = -0.378, t value = -2.32, t value = 0.022**) affected turnover intention.
Second, As for the influence of Taeum Cognition(physical) on turnover intention, the standardized coefficient(¥â) value is 0.290, the test statistic t value is 4.25, the significance probability(p value) is 0.000***, and the significance level(¥á) is 0.01. The higher the perceived physical burn, the more it influenced the nurse's turnover intention. Third, the influence of Taeum Cognition(social) on turnover intention has a standardized coefficient(¥â) value of 0.180, a test statistic t value of 1.04, and a significance probability(p value) of 0.300, which is statistically significant at the significance level(¥á) of 0.01. Although it was not significant, the results of a detailed examination showed that some(irrational business processing, privacy exposure) had an impact.
In conclusion, new nurses' Taeum Cognition(mental-physical-social) affects their intention to change jobs, so changes at the social-national level are needed. With the improvement of the working environment, the early establishment of a nurse treatment improvement system and the development of a burn prevention(self-awareness) education program are required, which is expected to help with turnover intention.
